Worship
The 10.15 service is lively and user friendly, with puppets, drama, and music led by our Praise Band. In the middle part of the service we split into groups with the adults listening and responding to the sermon. We all come together for the final part of the service and share what God has been saying to us. We are finding many ways of effectively using our video projector within worship. We have a large welcoming congregation and the many newcomers soon feel at home. Coffee is served after each service with people chatting with old and new friends.
The evening 6.15 service is a quieter more traditional service with music led by the organ. The congregation have started to share coffee after some services. Everyone is assured of a warm welcome.
Healing
Opportunities for people to receive prayer for healing occur regularly in our Sunday services rather than in the previous mid-week healing services.
Morning communion
On the first Sunday of every month we have an 8.30 communion service. This is reflective in style with no music.
Worship Band
The Icthus band leads our morning worship. It comprises drums, 2 keyboards, bass, flute, violin, guitars and vocalists. We are fortunate in having other musicians in our church family and have been able to lead worship at other churches.
Forward looking
At Fellside we try to offer relevant styles of worship to enable people of today to worship and engage with a God who wants to be involved with them. To help us to do this we our developing our work in multimedia and we try to keep in touch and engage with the community.
