O Lord my God, you are my almighty creator, powerful and brilliant.
You hold the world in your hands and your light shines on us all.
Lord, you are incomparable yet your glory is brighter than the brightest star.
My God, is powerful, an immovable rock and awesome in my sight.
Lord you care for me, look after me, provide for me and nurture me.
Lord, I pour out my heart to you in awe.
For you challenge me and in that challenge redeem me, making me safe.
You never leave me, you lead me as a parent leads a child.
You set me free and my spirit soars as I am held in the safety of your hands.
Lord God, my God, you are alpha and omega, the never ending light your Goodness is mind blowing, indescribable.
You Lord are God of all.

Week 3 – The praising shepherds
The shepherds heard the good news and then chose to go and see for themselves. They decided to take a risk (leaving the sheep unguarded) in order to know for themselves the Messiah had come.
Come and see. Experience and know: Christ the Lord is born to you.

Week 2 - God with us
As we prepare for Christmas and to receive this child we prepare for ‘God with us’. What happens when God is an intrusion into our nicely laid plans and decisions? To be open to this story means to invite the possibility that obedient discipleship may transform us and lead us in ways we had never imagined just as it transformed Joseph.

Week 1 - A Child is Born
The mystery of the incarnation; John’s gospel speaks of the word and of light as God’s revelation. One is about hearing the other seeing. God transforms our hearing and our sight by coming in Jesus as the light of the world and as the Word made flesh.
