Stewards and the minister form a team that gives leadership in all areas of church life, with individual stewards taking responsibility for specific areas of church life e.g. prayer, outreach, publicity etc.
Our church family consists of people of all ages with a high proportion under 50.
Fellside offers 13 midweek fellowship groups. These groups meet a variety of needs with 2 specifically for younger people. The groups differ in nature from a Bible study to those that are based on a cell structure.
Around 30 members of the church attended the ECG conference in Llandudno during Easter Week 2008 and were enriched by the teaching and preaching, the inspiring worship lead by YFriday, and the opportunity to relax together by the seaside. It is hoped that an even larger group will be attending next year when the conference co-incides wth the school spring holiday.
Fellside church is one of the 12 churches in the South West Tyneside Methodist circuit.
